P3D v3 doesn't start up after insallation WIN10

Hello,

after a clean installation on WIN10 P3D v3 does not start up. It brakes up after 10 seconds (during loading traffic. I assume that because it runs verry quick due to the loading process).

Please help.

Just a quick check to see if P3D has somehow chosen the Intel Graphics solution on your CPU.
1st look in Nvidia control panel and verify that your Nvidia card is selected for use with P3D.
2nd open up Prepar3D.cfg and scroll down looking for your graphics card.

If both of the above options are already set to your Nvidia card then there's another problem here.

can you copy and paste here the details from event viewer? to try and Identify the fault.

Ah yes, because the rendering has never taken place.

There's a post here with a permission's issue in Windows10 I think it may be worth investigating.

I have the same problem, P3D V3 is always crashing during the loading process at the start.

Intel i7 4790
Windows 10
GTX 970 Strix
16GB RAM


I paid 199$ for the V2.5 and also for the V3 so I'm not really happy that there's actually no solution for this issue.

Could you try adding the following section to your Prepar3D.cfg if it is not present:

If it is already present, please change OPTIMIZE_PARTS from 1 to 0.

Your Prepar3D.cfg can be found in "C:\%%%USER_NAME%%%\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3"

Yesterday I bought a copy of Prepare3D v3.
I installed on my new Lenovo Y50, with Windows 10 and the program crashes during the loading of the first screen, as written in this post without solution ...
My pc has 12 Gbyte RAM, with an Intel i7 inside and graphic card Nvidia GTX.

Check the checksums of your installation files. Do they match the ones on the downloads page?
