[ANSWERED] Is the Prepar3D download server having problems today?

I have been trying to download V1.4 and it will barely download at 10 KB/sec. There is nothing wrong on my end and all other websites that I checked are downloading at the maximum rate for my Internet connection (~30 Mbps). After about five minutes, the download fails completely. Is there some storm related impact on your server? I've tried Chrome, IE9 and Firefox 15 and I get the exact same result. Do you have an alternate sever location?

Hi Jay, Set up a ping to cloud.prepar3d.com and you will know

That's the first thing that I did. It will ping with reasonable response times for one or two loops and then time out. The server is actually:

gs1.wpc.edgecastcdn.net [72.21.81.253]

Hi Jay, your ping is pointing to another ip than the cloud.prepR3D.COM is resolving

Press Windows Start type CMD >> ENTER >> type ipconfig /flushdns >> enter and try again

Hi There,

There is a possibility that some of our cloud download servers could have been impacted, depending on your geographical location. The service should automatically direct you to the lowest latency connection server. Everything appears to be fine currently, if you have download connection problems please wait a few minutes and try again, downloading each file separately not concurrently.
