5.1 CTD after short flight time.
5.1 loaded into the sim fine.
After take off and a short flight sim freezes sound keeps going followed by a CTD. Happened with both the default F-35 and a Carenado C337. Happened about the same time and got the same issue 5 times in a row. FPS above 50 at all times. All drivers are current. No warning or code displayed. What can I post to help source this error?

Re: 5.1 CTD after short flight time.
@ Snowfalcon ,
I have only tested very short test flights and no problems.
What was your test flight in the F35A and I will give it a try?
For payware I also only have the PMDG737NGXu installed.
Otherwise a default P3Dv5.1 install with FSUIPC6.

By short flight I meant it CTD after about 3 min. Rolled back to 5.0 HF2 and all is good.

Re: 5.1 CTD after short flight time.
Hello ,
I have the same problem with P3DV5.1. I get CTD after a few minutes, independing where and with what kind of aircraft I am flying. My protocoll tells me, that the fault is in ucrtbase.dll.
I use win10, all drivers up to date, updated VC_redist.x64 drivers, I am using NVidia 1070 with newest drivers.
Please help. Thank you.
Kind regards
Michael

Is your problem repeatable?
Does it happen when you test with default P3D aircraft?

Re: 5.1 CTD after short flight time.
Yes it is repeatable. I find this issue wth the F35 and also other aircrafts. It happens all the time when I try to use V5.1.
Thank you.

@Snowfalcon and Michael,
What does Windows Event Viewer say is the "Failing module" at the time of the CTD?

Re: 5.1 CTD after short flight time.
Same problem here. Did 10 test flights with payware and default aircraft. After 5 minutes in the air over KSEA I am having a CTD without any notification. How can I revert back to the previous version? Unfortanately I don't have the HF2 install client anymore...

Re: 5.1 CTD after short flight time.
Sorry didn't answer your question completely:
Yes I am using P3D standard F35. But is happens the PMDG 737 NGXU as well. But I always test the original aircrafts first to avoid failures by the ad - ons.
Thanx
Michael

Michael,
The "ucrtbase.dll" error is what you have to chase down, in your case.

Re: 5.1 CTD after short flight time.
Jorgen,
I will roll back to V5.0. There I didn't have the failure. I have no clou how to chase down my problem with the ucrtbase.dll. Do you have an idea what I may have to do?
Thank you
Michael
