[RESOLVED] Default P3D Carrier meatball setting

Post by miro »

Is there any way how to adjust hook to eye distance on P3D carrier meatball? When I use Aerosoft F-14X I have to keep high ball in close to catch 3rd wire. If I keep ball centered I catch allways 1st wire

maybe this can help..
from the SDK ( D:\Prepar3d V3\Learning Center.chm) in the aircraft.cfg file.
[tailhook]
If a tailhook entry is made, it will override the attachpt_tailhook_pivot and attachpt_tailhook_hook entries for the aircraft, if these attach points exist.

Property Description Examples
tailhook_length Length of tailhook in feet.
tailhook_position Tailhook pivot point relative to datum reference point.
cable_force_adjust A scalar value applied to the arrestor cable forces acting upon the aircraft when hooked.
cable_moment_adjust A scalar value applied to the arrestor cable moment of force acting upon the aircraft when hooked.
