Hello,
I've been using Prepar3d v5.3 for a year and so far I had no problem since yesterday. I tried to do twice the same flight from KBOS to LFPG with PMDG 777 and after around 3 hours of flight, on both flight it crashed around the same place over the atlantic ocean.
Prepar3d run fine during the first 3 hours and then suddently CPU usage goes to 100%, RAM is used at 15.5 GB out of 16 GB with a huge drop in FPS and eventually the sim crash 1 minute later.
The weird thing is that I did like 40 flights in november and december, a lot of them were long haul flights, without a single CTD. I installed no addon since then.
I tried to replicate this problem couple of times, and I got the same problem once, on the ground right after startup at LFPO with the Aerosoft A330.
The only thing I changed since my last flights is my headset, I transitionned from a Corsair VOID Wireless to a Corsair VIRTUOSO XT Wireless. And I am now using Dolby Atmos with this headset, but I highly doubt the problem could come from this.
Config :
I7 10700K
16GB RAM
RTX 2070 SUPER
NVME 2TB
Nvidia and windows driver up to date.
Here's the error code :

The exception code in your case is this:
80000003
and searching the web for it produced this:
https://www.google.com/search?q=8000000 ... e&ie=UTF-8
which is your starting point. This is a Windows error, not a P3D error.
