Hi
I am having problems connecting to multiplayer in P3Dv4.
I set the host session and make my connection, all is well with this.
My friend then attempts to join through direct connection using my ip address (found through google).
It then states unable to connect.
I have set open the ports 9112-9122 and allowed the programme through the firewall.
Still not able to connect, any advice gratefully received.
Best regards
G

Are you seeing the same issues if your friend hosts and you try to connect to their machine?

Hi Rob
Yes we are seeing exactly the same issues when my friend hosts the session.
Many thanks

Oops, a typo in my original post.
Ports should read 6112 - 6122

Hello Clifton
Thank you for your suggestion.
I am not able to ping with my friends computer, infact I can't even ping my own ip address over the internet.
My friend can ping his ip address though.
Thanks again
George
