I just purchased P3Dv4.3 pro but can't find the C-130 in my aircraft options. What have I missed?

I assume you did a full install of P3dv4.3, correct?
Can you do a screenshot of your (my path is) airplanes folder contents :
C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes

Hi, yes full install and I see a C-130_AI.

Just re-reading, I didn't see how I could do a partial install, is that an option? Also, it is pro version, would that affect anything?

Which version of P3D are you using?
Is it a full version install or an update from a previous version?
If it was an update did you only install the Client (not Content / Scenery)?
