re-download

Post by vealeww »

Got a new PC win10. Tried downloading my P3D which happens. I get 2 files down and then try to unzip it. I get an error, the file is corrupt or multiple part zip. put in the last cd and continue. I don't have cd"s this is an internet download. What I'm left with is cont1.cab and cont2.cab, which cannot be installed. It's difficult to understand why this does not work. Who uses cd"s any more? What can I do to install P3D that I purchased? Should not be this difficult. Wayne Veale

Doesn't sound like you downloaded the complete package. The files cont1.cab and cont2.cab are part of the Contents package that also needs the Install_Content.msi installer. And this is only part of the P3D installation which also needs the Client and Scenery installers and cab files.

Hope this helps: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&t=120676
