Flying Tips Come Back After Exiting

I know this is a petty thing but it is driving me nuts. I disable Flying Tips in the Information area and fly around. I then close the app normally and when I open it again, Flying Tips are checked and active. I searched the cfg file and could only locate the cockpit tips entry.

Any insight appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Another thing to check, are you using any add-on like Simstarter? this add-on will keep a copy of your preferred prepard3d.cfg settings and override your configuration when you start the sim explaining the behaviour in terms of configuration.

If so, you need to adjust the 3rd party add-on settings as well so it understand you do not wish to have the flying tips, etc.

Actually yes I am still having the issue. I do not use any helper programs that launch P3D for me. No matter how many times I turn it off it comes back on. I really am at a loss as to whats happening.
