[RESOLVED] update to P3D v4.3

Hi --had 4.1 in January and decided to update to 4.3 on 13 Oct 2018
All has gone well ,I think .
I updated both Client and scenery as per instructions here and it launched no trouble at all with no affect to my Track IR5 nor ORBX or A2A planes,
When going through all my files on completion and look into This PC-downloads- I find that I still have P3Dv4.1.7.22841 Academic that I installed in January. Clicking on this opens the whole lot--cont1.cab to -P3D.exe of 12.1 GB. with no client or scenery update date.
Should this have been changed in the update to the new numbers and dates or is it all now defunct and I can delete it and save the space? Or must this remain to provide the "core" to other bits of P3Dv4?
If I go to Local Disc >programme files>LM >P3Dv4 and open it I get folders Autogen to weather with the change date then down to Toolkit.ddl with various dates.

Are you referring to the actual Prepar3D v4.1 download folder in PC > Downloads (Previous Install) ?

If so, Yes you can delete this complete folder if you like to save space.

Hi Poppet--thanks for the prompt reply and the answer is yes . It is in the same layout/format as the download files are presented in the P3dv4 website from which you download the full installation.
So I will go ahead and delete?

Yes, If you now have v4.3 Installed you can delete the v4.1 download folder
