I'm seeing the same issue. After running the 2.5 installer the Prepar3d.exe file is still showing 2.3. All of the files in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 directory are from 2014 so it appears that the update ran but did not overwrite any existing files.
