Thrustmaster Airbus Joystick and Throttle quadrant + Addon Pack

Hi

Recently purchased the thrustmaster airbus joystick and throttles etc - in MSFS all has picked up perfectly, in P3d V5 not so good - when using the throttles I get camera changes, flaps don't work properly as the same with the spoilers. has anyone got a control set saved for p3d V5

Same problem here, I can't figure out how to use it. The joystick works fine but it look like the throttle quadrant is seen as a joystick as well. Anybody any idea?

It is with every aircraft. Did you install any drivers or other addons to get it working or dit it work 'out of the box'? I also have FS 2020 and as stated by the poster, it all works out of the box without any extra stuff installed.

In Prepere3D Options, Control Calibration I do see it as 'TCA Q-eng 1&2' but is shows AXIS, SENSITIVIY, NULLZONE, etc same setting possibilities as the 'T.a320 Copilot' which is the sidestick. What do you see?

I do not use the TM TCA on all aircraft.

I use it on the Airbus A320 only.

I only have the Thrustmaster TCA Throttle Quadrant and Sidestick controllers. I recently purchased Prepare3d but do not have the Airbus. As I am able to fly other planes in FS 2020 with the controllers I assumed the controllers are usable in Prepare3d.

I do not use the TM Target software.

Are you selecting the TM TCA Controller in P3D Options for Key Assignments, Axis Assignments, and Control Calibration?

Maybe you could do screenshots or a video while setting up the TM TCA in P3Dv5.3 for other pilots to review.

I use two of them for all planes in p3d and in Xplane. No problems with them, but p3d is a lot more limited as for Xplane. There you can shape the curve of the axis and add triggerpoints for thrust reverse, beta and for props also feather. Maybe p3d can tweak the axis also but I have not found out how.

But p3d is a bit more easy to handle for "normal" setups. Just select the devise, choose axis for the levers and the keysettings menu for switches. When you slide it over the idle indent there is a switch that switches so you can use that for reverse in some planes (the "move throttle back fast"(or something like that) All depends also on the plane. The Majestic Q400 f.i has its own setup in the EFB. The TWA is just an axis like any axis for p3d. Oh, I never use the software from thrustmastewr or any other party. I have around 20 axis in use. (thrustmaster, saitek, honeycomb, DIY)
