Reverb G2 head tracking

Post by saunder »

I am having a problem with head tracking with the reverb g2. even with frame rates at 60fps when I move my head the the juddering is really bad if I fly without moving my head the simulation is smooth but as soon as I move my head everything just judders. It runs excellent in DCS and XPlane no issues at all. I have dropped all the graphics settings really low and its the same no difference. I am sure it is not about the FPS. Any help appreciated

Are you using the Windows Mixed Reality Portal or Steam VR?

I select the steam VR option but the WMR window opens when VR loads, is that what should happen?

I'm not sure. I'm not using Steam VR, just WMR, and I can't get VR to work in P3D at all. I don't really want to, but I may have to load Steam VR and see what happens.

The below worked on my Odyssey + suffering the same issue.

"It seems that setting render to "update" instead of "pre-render" solved this issue, in case anyone was interested.

Thanks to Marcus P in another forum for answering this concern within 2 hours of asking.

Hope this helps,
