3 more or less little Problems with the View setup for 3 Monitors

Post by mroschk »

Hallo,
i am not a fluent english speaker, so sorry for the evatually poor english :-)

I have 3, more or less, little problems with my View setup for my 3 21 " Monitors:
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B073RJ ... UTF8&psc=1

Its not possible to attach pictures here, so i put the on my google account, hope it works, because it helps me to explain all.

Ok, now to the Questions:

1. Setup:
As mentioned above i have these 3 Monitors.
I have stretched my P3D Main Window all over these 3 Monitors ( i dont want to use Viewgroups, because it gives me a big Framedrop )
Then i have created 3 Windows inside the sim. and put each of them on one monitor.
This is the convig for the 3 Views in the Aircraft.cfg ( Left, Center and Right )

Code: Select all

//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a lot of test & triel this setup works fine more or less ( problems with the center view is comming below )

The original Virtual cockpit View, which is also spanned over the hole width of the sim Window, i have disabled with a right Mouse click on it and then select "Virtual Cockpit only". This gives me a black window in the Background and the 3 Windows on top of it.
I have saved a Situation with this setup.
The Problem her is that i have always, after starting the Sim, to disable the full spanned default virtual cockpit like describet above.
How can i permanently disable the default virtual cockpit view, or black it out permanently ?

2. "round lines" in the Center View
In the Center View i have the problem, that a street or a line, which is across the the view direction, is "round"
https://photos.app.goo.gl/d5QCn7KWiD5wv5sW7

Blue and Red is the Center Monitor and the "Line or Street" is the green and Magenta Line on the Pic.
As you can see :-) the Magenta Line is how the Line or street is ( straight ) but the Green Line is how the Line looks in the Sim.
Is that related to the curved Screen maybe ?
If yes, why is that not on the left and right View like this ? The Problem exists only on the Center screen.

3. After starting the Sim and solving the problem with the default virtual cockpit view, i have always to "Reset " the camera of each of the 3 Windows.
After that the view and the borders are correct. But after the sim start i always have to do this .

Why is it like that ?

Sorry for the poor pic and english.
I hope anyone can sort out some of the problems.

Hello,

thanks for the Answer, but i think you understand something wrong or i explained not good enough.
It is not a Problem of the Monitor or driver settings.
Its only a Problem with P3D Window setting.

Hi there, wondering if you would be able to assist. I'm running Qualitywings B787 in my sim with multi monitors. My graphics card seems to be running at its capacity. I've got all my displays where I want them however my front view is what I'm struggling with. I'm also running 3 monitors with a Triplehead2go adapter. This unfortunately gives the outside view a stretched look. I want to have it like a 2D view (even though I can't pop out the front view as a 2D panel) with the left HUD on the left monitor and the right HUD on the right monitor. Trying to stretch the virtual cockpit gives it at an angle which I don't want. Do you have any idea as to how I could achieve that view? Appreciate any help and thanks in advance

Hello,

sorry for the late reply.

I dont know that Airplane and what did you mean with HUD on the left/right Monitor ??
If you really mean HUD like B787 has, i think you must not connect all 3 Monitors to one big screen.
Then run the Virtual Cockpit on the middle Screen ( maxbe also the 2D Panel works ) and the create 2 new Views in P3D , unclock them and then you can move them to your right/left monitor.
Maybe that helps.
