Warthog

Post by sidler »

It works perfect in V4.5. When i use the Y key to move the aircraft around the ramp , V5 crashes!
Should I use a different key?

I assume you are using P3Dv5 HF2 , correct?

Have you changed any Keyboard key assignments in P3Dv5HF2?

Yes I am using P3Dv5 HF2......no I have not changed any keyboard key assignments. The Y key works just fine using P3Dv4.

Are you using the Thrustmaster Target software?

Are you using any viewing software likr Ezdok?

Check your P3Dv5HF2 Options Keys and verify what your "Y" key is assigned to?

Dick,

I don't quite understand your issue. Assuming 'Y' is mapped to its default action of 'Toggle Slew Mode', you're saying that toggling into slew mode causes P3Dv5 to crash? If so, that's clearly a serious problem, but I don't understand how it's related to your Warthog HOTAS setup. Are you saying that it only crashes if you toggle into slew mode with the Warthog throttle and stick plugged in?

Just for reference, I often use the Warthog stick and have no issues with it. I've not used the throttle in a while, so can't speak to its current functionality. I can verify that toggling in and out of slew mode with the Warthog stick plugged in works fine on my sim.

Can you supply a little more detail if you haven't figured this out yet?

Hi Martyson

I solve the Warthog problem...the only problem I have now is the Y keyboard key.

I use the Y key to move the aircraft back, forward, left and right on the ramp in order to reposition the aircraft.
It works just fine using Prepar3D v4.5, when I try the Y key in Prepar3D v5.1 the sim crashes!
