Landing Gear Extend and Retract Commands

Post by Jay Dunn »

Landing Gear Extend and Retract. It is apparent that the keyboard G (or g) is used for both Extending AND Retracting the Landing Gear. Is it in the works to have these two different commands like an upper-case G to Retract and a lower-case g to Extend the landing gear. This way one could have completely separate buttons one for Retracting and one for Extending the landing Gear. Or does anyone know of a way to separate these commands? This is on P3D V4.1 Thank you, Jay

There are events for gear up versus gear down. I do not think they are settable to a keypress, but using something like SPAD.neXt you could program hardware (joystick button, etc) to send the appropriate event.
