HP G2 and WMR Use with P3dV5.3

Downloaded and installed V5.3. Tried to use my HP G2 with P3d, but could not find an WMR selection in the VR menu. The only option in the VR menu was SteamVR. Is V5.3 limited to using SteamVR? Didn't previous P3d versions have an option for WMR? When I use SteamVR I get very bad stutters, to the point of not being useable.
