Haze overkill and Bright Clouds

What's up with all the haze when EA is on. I really like EA but once its on, my clouds are really bright and there is way too much haze. I'm nervous P3D will move on to V6 before they even fix these issues. Its been an on going issue for me since 5.2. Frame rate is a lot better with v5.3 HF2. Any advice? Its like once everything starts working fine with this sim, something else new happens.
