Affinity Mask setting for add-on.cfg executables

Post by Ray Proudfoot »

Dear LM,

The inclusion of Affinity Mask settings in the v5.3 Prepar3D.cfg is a very good addition. For those who use Project Lasso or Aerosoft SimStarterNG individual executables such as ActiveSky, ChasePlane etc. can also have AM settings applied.

There is one area where an AM setting cannot be applied automatically. Those executables launched via an add-on.cfg file. The user has to manually set the AM in Task Manager - Details section. It has to be done manually each time.

Can you give some consideration to an extra parameter in add-on.xml or add-on.cfg to include an AM value please. One obvious example is SODE but there are others mainly associated with AIG programs such as AIG Traffic Controller.
