Since v5.2 HF1 I have some strange shadow areas on the ground that change with the view angle.
This happens in external as well as internal view. I've seen this on landings, during taxiing and on stand at several 3rd party airports.
Changing the shadow quality and draw distance does change the shadows a bit, but doesn't resolve the problem.
Any ideas how to fix this?

P3Dv5.2 HF1, EA off, HDR on, Rex SkyForce, cloud shadows on ...
Thanks!

Hi disco79stu
Can you do the same test using a default aircraft on a default airport?

Michel

I've learned that it's a bug with the cloud shadows when using Evshade.
So I'll wait for them to fix it.
Thanks.

Ok disco79stu
Maybe I would have asked you if you are using software for the weather.

Okay, so TOGA replies it is not Envshade's fault.
Back to square one then...

Hi disco79stu
I can reproduce that (no weather addon).
With the default flight (F35 KNRD) and custom weather (800' to 1200', Stratus, overcast)
When the point of view comes in the cloud, I obtain like you.
Have a look here (clic right copy and paste in your IE address bar)

I have seen this before, also seems to be related to time of day … Round about Mid-Dayish, i have experienced it since P3D4.5 and i have also seen it in 5.2 https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopi ... 72#p203672
