Win11 and P3D V5.2

Post by cdv0007 »

Today, Win11 was pushed as scheduled, and I updated it. After the update, P3D V5.2 works well. It is hoped that LM can solve the terrain penetration problem caused by volumetric clouds in the near HF1.

I will wait to see which flight sim developers (Sims, aircraft, scenery, hardware etc.) are supporting the new WIN11 OS before leaving WIN10.

Well it is not the official public release, but in fact the first "Dev Build for Windows Insiders" to start testing.

There are a few things that are not complete in it yet, but that is understandable as it is WIP and the public release is aimed at Nov - Dec 2021.
I have it installed on a test computer and have already run into a few issues where I was able to crash certain aspects of the OS.

If you require stability do not install it on a daily workbench if you are not okay with Development and Beta software.
