Do NOT update to NVIDIA Driver 465.89 - P3D won't open/CTD.

Please don't update to the latest driver, it doesn't allow P3D to open anymore.

I second this for P3Dv5, on my system with dual Titan X (pascal) it would CTD on the intro screen, the default one for setting or loading scenarios. It did not seem to like the vehicle screen.

However, P3Dv4 continued to work.

I went backwards to NVidia Driver 461.72 and all is well again. Note that is 2 upgrades back.

Additional Information to my previous post that I didn't have time for.

I always start with the default flight that came with P3Dv5.1

Troubleshooting done prior to driver roll back.

1) Turned off all addons - no joy
2) Deleted Shaders - no joy
3) Deleted Config - no joy

Same here. Only thing that worked was going back to a previous driver.

This driver is supposed to add some new features to the new RTX cards.

The more influx of feedback they receive, the better. Hopefully they release a hotfix.

Apparently there is a whole slew of issues with that new driver, some people report Windows startup colors all wrong etc etc.

I did not see any different Windows startup colors, but P3D would not open, and for the first time ever I had to roll back the nVidia driver. That took care of the problem.

There seems to be issues with drivers released since January with 10 series cards - this isn't specific to P3d, but DX12

Anti-aliasing is the biggest issue I've had personally, but it seems to be affecting my Area 51m R2 RTX 2080 Super laptop as well.
My desktop uses a 1080Ti.
