SUN - ICAO rules
The sunrise and sunset times correspond to the passage of the center of the sun below the horizon (so when the base of the sun is 3 degrees below the horizon since it is considered that the sun has an apparent diameter of 6 degrees)
The hours of the aeronautical day and night correspond to the passage of the center of the sun 6 degrees below the horizon.
Night: Period during which the center of the solar disk is more than 6 degrees below the horizon.

So
when the center of the sun come up 6° below the horizon to 3° below the horizon (the top of the sun just appears on the horizon), this is DAWN.
when the center of the sun come down 3° below the horizon (the top of the sun just desappears on the horizon) to 6° below the horizon, this is DUSK.

Seems this is not the situation here at KNRD and all over the world.
If we can see a little part of the sun it is DAY.

Can you do something? But perhaps this fault does not exist in the professional version?

Hi,
Have you ever seen this in real life?
http://royalefrenchnavy.restauravia.fr/ ... Sun_02.jpg

If we can see a little part of the sun, this is DAY, not DUSK, not DAWN.
You diseagree that?

May I have an LM answer?
Best regards
Michel
