Screen distortion issues

I am getting some screen distortion when I zoom out and I really want to turn it off but don't know how.

This is what it looks like when zoomed in


And this is what it looks like when zoomed out:


It happens in both VC and external view. I may have dropped into a menu and turned something on but could never find my way back, its quite annoying. Its happening in V4.5 but started while using 4.4.

Ok I think I found a solution, I changed 'View Groups' from 'Fill Desktop' to 'None' and things returned to normal. But what are these view groups and why to they distort things so badly.

where is "viewer groups" located?

Please don't double post the same issue.

Your zoom level of 0.30, which is a default Cockpit zoom, will distort the perspective exactly as you post in second picture. The default zoom level can be changed in the fxml files appropriate for your scenario.
