I did a quick check with P3Dv4.4 Unilmited FPS selected, VC cockpit.

With the MFD Off/On IRIS F22:FPS 77-65 , LM F16: 77-53.
VRS F/A 18E with MFD On 65

I checked the sales page for the A2A Bonanza (P3Dv4):
Three in-sim avionics configurations including
no GPS, GPS 295, or the GNS 400.
Built-in, automatic support for 3rd party avionics.

Which 3rd party MFD did you install in the A2A Bonanza?

actually I just gave it a try and there was no difference, the pre PBR version had the same issue but was cleared up by turning off terrain, my framerate shot through the floor when I just tried it so not sure what's changed with the mfd

I did the same test and you are correct.

With Unlimited selected in the Sim:

F16 with MFDs off in VC cockpit 70 FPS
F16 with MFDs on , right MFD in MAP 52 to 60 FPS
F16 with MFDs on, right MFD in Terrain 44 FPS

I did a second test:
When terrain is displayed the FPS can be locked e.g. at 20 and moving around the VC cockpit is jerky as well as low FPS.

This does not happen the the default IRIS F22.

Yeah, I tried to tell you so. It is a mystery that no-one noticed. I guess not too many people fly the F-16. Devs should be told. Any way to flag someone in topics?

Sorry, in past posts I told you I was trying to get enough information to do a test.

I did not get enough specific setup information to verify the problem you reported.

The MFD had to be in a specific display mode, not just powered On, to show the problem as, hermes82 mentioned.

Looks like LM bought a lemon from Aerosoft. How does one open a support ticket?

Every LM P3D update comes with problem fixes.

Problems are reported in this forum.

I am sure LM staff will have a look at the F16 problem reported here when they have time.

I have previously reported this in this thread: https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopi ... 2&t=131841

I really hope LM will look into this regarding their flagship product (F-16)

The FPS and MFD's problem with the F-16 is not a v4.4 problem (or Prepar3D/FSX). It has been an issue from day one with the Aerosoft F-16. It is *this* F-16 that LM bought (from Aerosoft), the F-16 is not a LM in-house product.

By the way, the HUD fonts change in v4.4 vs 4.3 for the F-16. It is now very hard to read. Please see this thred for a fix:

Maybe LM staff will combine the two posts on this topic to keep all the information in one place.
