Hi!
I have just upgraded to v4.2 with Client, Content and Scenery installation.
The process was rather smooth. However, I found that whenever I start the first flight with either default or addon aircraft,
some issue occurred. That is, if I push the thrust from idle position ( default F22 or PMDG 777/747), there was electric shut down causing engine shut down( F22) or transient electric failure which returned back to normal later by itself. (PMDG 777/747)
However, if I start a second flight or plane, everything was normal.
Any fix or reason? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Iching Lee

Hello,
When are you seeing this occur in the F-22? What other add-ons do you have installed on your system?

Rob McCarthy

Hi!
Thanks for reply!
This happens in every "first" flight after I start P3D.
Add-ons I have( besides scenery and airport) include: ASP4, Rex Sky FOrce 3D, Envtex, Envshade, GSX, FS2Crew(for PMDG 777).
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: V4.2 Engaging thrust caused electric shut down
It may be caused by a combination of one or more of those add-ons. You may want to uninstall those and then reintroduce them one by one to narrow down the cause of the issue. We also have general debugging steps here that may help:

Re: V4.2 Engaging thrust caused electric shut down
Hi! The only difference is that I upgraded to v4.2. I haven't added any more other add-ons before it happened.
So I don't think i's cause by my add-ons.
I upgraded with Client, content, and scenery.
Now I realized that this happened when I move any of the "axis" controller of my ThrustMaster TWCS, and it only happens in the first flight every time I start P3D, and only in default planes and PMDG 747.
Really have no idea and annoying....
Any possible fix?
Thanks~

Re: V4.2 Engaging thrust caused electric shut down
Some add-ons may not be fully compatible with 4.2 yet. I recommend seeing if you can reproduce this issue on a clean install with no add-ons and then introduce them one by one to see what is causing the issue.
