PDK Dynamic Cockpit Lights

Question, writing a PDK dynamic light like the custom lights example, works fine outside the aircraft but when I try to AddLight to a point inside the cockpit the light in the debugger seems to be fine, but the light never appears. Is there something I'm missing in the PDK?

More specifically after testing found a clipping limitation within of 1 meter from the light object...outside of that distance the object becomes visible.
