AI ignoring waypoints
AI ignoring waypoints
I've set up a series of waypoints for an AI controlled Goshawk, but the aircraft only follows the first few waypoints before heading in a different direction. Is there any guidelines to make sure an AI follows the full path, or debugging tools to indicate why the aircraft will no longer follow the next waypoint?
Re: AI ignoring waypoints
Could you describe your waypoint situation or provide a screenshot of your path?
Re: AI ignoring waypoints
Hello,
I am also having a similar issue.
Issue:
The issue I am seeing is that my aircraft is not strictly following my waypoint circuit. For example, the aircraft is swinging out way off to the sides of my circuit instead of following the path. It seems like maybe the Airplane AI is overriding the waypoint path? How would I go about making the aircraft follow the circuit I have made more closely?
Set-up:
I have made a waypoint circuit in which an aircraft takes off and lands.
I am using the Lockheed C69A aircraft entity.
In the waypoint window I have assigned my aircraft the Airplane AI type.
Here is a screenshot of my waypoint config:

Re: AI ignoring waypoints
Hi, thanks for your patience. If you are still having this issue, I'm sorry I am not able to open a drop box link, if you can paste your pictures into the forum that would work best to help debug the issue.
