Add airports/weather stations with active AWOS/ASOS/ATIS transmission for in flight weather briefings

Hi,
I am trying to add extra airports or weather stations that I can contact on a frequency in flight for METAR data. I am unsure how to complete this in simdirector or prepar3d. I am using Active Sky 16 to generate the weather, however on my flight path there are no stations available to contact for METAR data.

You will want to start with SDK documentation on how to add facility data to the runtime database:

Go to /World/Scenery for information on file formats, schema, and compiler. Scroll down to the Facility Data / Airport and COM section for information specific to ATIS and AWOS stations.

Setting weather is described in the PDK API / Service Providers / Weather System Service section.
