There is a new SurfaceQuery field in the SDK but no explanation of what does the various options: Default, None, Elevation_and_type.
What are the use of this new keyword and what is the difference between Defaulg, None and Elevation_and_Type ?

It is part of several new properties that are used for creating sloped airports in P3D v5

Yep I know. I used ADE to create a first sloped airport but still not sure of the effect of selecting DEFAULT, NONE or ALTITUDE_AND_TYPE on the rendering of sloped runways. I found by testing that NONE draw the runway directly on the ground polygon while ALTITUDE_AND_TYPE draw the runway according to the vertex altitude of the runway taxiway.scruffyduck wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:14 am It is part of several new properties that are used for creating sloped airports in P3D v5

Re: New SurfaceQuery field
Hello,
I'm trying to turn off all of the little elevation flags that appear all across the airport, so that I can edit an AFCAD. A scenery developer said that there is a keystroke combination for this, can you please provide that?

If you are doing a slopped airport have a look here :
https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopi ... 7&t=140105
When a runway or an apron is below the reference altitude of the airport
- Progressive taxi arrow fly at the reference altitude of the airport
- Ground Poly fly at the reference altitude of the airport
- Helipad texture fly at the reference altitude of the airport
