What are we looking at here? There's some confusion over at the FSDeveloper.com forum, so a quick intro to this new SDK feature would be appreciated!

Ideally the SDK documentation would be updated to describe what this is and how to use it... but for now a few bullet points to point developers in the right direction would be brilliant please...

Yes, please.
Do you have to put in your own model(s) and then put the GUID's all over the place or what?
If I use the annotator and find the 'grass' and add it, it does not show.
Probably obvious because I get: a '?' and then a GUID with a lot of zero's if I try to find out what it is exactly.
LM, please explain.

Any news regarding this feature? I am looking for information regarding this announced feature, but unfortunately I diden't find any relevant info yet.

This was a new feature for 4.2. We're now on 4.3 and there is no documentation that I know of... Can LM fill in the blanks please?
