To moderators:

Do you think this topic should be moved (or duplicated) into the SUPPORT section of the forum ?

Since the first investigation are showing that the problem doesn't come to the way the scenery was designed, but from a P3D problem instead, the support section might be more suitable than "scenery development".

In addition, the weird thing is that (in this test zone) only decidous trees are concerned by this erratic display; evergreen vegetation (conifers) stay firm in their places.

Hey Daube,

We're on the case. We've created an internal ticket for it and we'll get to it as soon as we're able.

Thanks for the info Zach.

That means there is no need to move or duplicate the topic at all.

I don't see this issue on the todo list updated 01/14.

Please do not forget this one on the patch.

Thanks

This problem is not corrected update 2.1.

Also, if not corrected - POP_FREE_AUTOGEN = 1 - POP_FREE_AUTOGEN=0

After 2-5 minutes (while flying over the forest) occurs OOM!

I see this when flying over dense forest areas with OrbX FTX AU scenery. Camera movement/angle makes trees disappear and reappear in blocks. These areas also see rapid VAS consumption leading to an increased chance of getting OOM. Is this issue being overlooked in this area of the forum?

An ORBX not LM issue to be looked at, surely?

Please post in the appropriate forum `over there`. Don't forget system specs, all addons included, whether you're running some mad hybrid installation - and which (date) version of the 140201 Library you have installed. I mention this because this library was only updated today.

And the order number. They're fussy about that.

From reading the whole thread, it seems this is not 3rd party vendor specific, but more of a general issue. Orbx simply has large areas of dense agn that highlighted this in my case.

Regardless, if you have addons installed it's not THIS vendors problem. If you want it be a LM problem, do a full reinstall and leave a clean,, unmodified 2.1 installation and report here.

I understand your point of view, unfortunately the reality is different.

The problem here does not come from the scenery maker. It's a problem within the P3D autogen system which is totally unable to handle a very dense area.

So far, the problem occurs with:

- Freeware autogen over payware scenery, visible on my video

- payware autogen made by OrbX

- freeware autogen over totally empty default area with no other addons at all

Addon makers are absolutely not concerned by this problem, they define a standard autogen with standard tools, and P3D can't handle it past a certain threshold.

It's a small glitch in the P3D engine, and I hope LM plans to take care of it in any of the next patches.
