Scenery blurries in my P3D v4.5. Are old tricks still viable?

Post by Fresjay76 »

So I am new to P3D but loving it so far. Question is I am curious if the tricks of previous versions are still viable in v4.5 or do I just need to adjust the right settings to fix it in the UI? I have found various threads here and on other forums on how they fixed them but they were on previous versions. Just kinda looking to know where I should start rather than dive in and muck everything up with changes that weren't needed. Any direction appreciated.

I have various Add ons, QualityWings, Aerosoft Airbus Pro, Carenado, ORBX, FlyTampa, GSX, REX, Active Sky

System:
Ryzen 7 2700X locked @ 4.2Ghz HT off
MSI RTX 2080
16gb DDR 3200mhz
500Gb NVME M.2 (system) + 1Tb SSD (Software)
Monitor: Samsung 4K 32"

Thanks,
Jason

Is your P3Dv4.5 the full version with Hot Fix 1 ?

Do you have a video sample of your problem?

Maybe pilots could test the same area.

Sorry I should have put that in my initial post. I have the Pro and was the latest version at time of purchase and download last week which I believe had the Hot Fix in it file shows 4.5.12.30293. Also my LOD is maxed.

As for video I do not but can get some. It really isn't relegated to 1 area specifically as it has happen in a variety areas I have flown in or through in the last week. Flights have been CYYZ-EGLL and back, CYYZ-KSFO, Plus a hop or 2 in Australia. But will see if I can get video and if not something usable then will at least get some Screen Shots. I can also post pics of my settings if that would help too.

Here are some shots I took today as I departed KSFO heading towards CYYZ. These are the area just the other side of the mountains from Oakland. Here is a link to the shared google pictures folder that I put the screen shots in. I could not get the SC's to link into the Img brackets in this app. So best I can do.
