System:
8700K (stock clocks)
32GB DDR4-3200
RTX2080ti on a 120Hz g-sync display
ORBX base/vector/LCNA/Trees and PNW
All drivers patched up as of today (1/17/19)
Prop aircraft with default graphics settings at 3440x1440: 60-80fps
F-35: 25-40 FPS.
In both cases the GPU is not nearly fully loaded and the sim is fully CPU bound on one core.
So the F35 is flyable with weak-sauce scenery settings. But it falls apart in VR.
I assume this is because the F-35 simulation is more complex compared to say the AC11, and it's running on the main thread.
I just want to verify that it's expected.

yes, because of multi fonction display.
If you want to fly it in VR with best fps, with no interest in all mfd's function, click on "icaws" (up on mfd, warning system), and click on the arrows on mfd to close all down windows and keep only 2 main windows that you stretch left / right with arrows, for exemple fuel window and engine window.
