CTD after update

I just updated 4.2 to 4.3 and i am having issues with the sim pausing and then CTD. at first I only did the client update as the other two where optional, I updated my addons deleted the cfg file and shaders folder. The sim still paused and then CTD, so I did the content update and it seemed to work, but after an hour and twenty minuets it all of a sudden CTD. what can I do to solve this problem, do I have to do a complete reinstall?
