Re: autostart external program
Hi skelley,
That is not directly supported at this time.
Most developers launch their program at startup and have it idle until it is needed by their scenarios.

Adam

Re: Random crashing/comp lockup/re-boot
Hi danander11,
Is your stable with other 3D applications?
Often the error you describe relates to faulty hardware. For example, Prepar3D triggers load on your GPU and demands extra power from your power supply. If the power supply is faulty, it could lead to a system failure.
Let us know,
Adam

Re: AI Aircraft direction not matching ownship
Hi skelley,
Each aircraft has slightly different flight dynamics.
There could be some control noise or other forces causing the F-35 to slightly drift.
To help rule a few things out, could you swap the F-35 with another vehicle and see if the issue can be recreated?

Adam

Re: Prepar3D V3 GPU error and bad fps on high end PC
Hi PlasticPen41, That error is a report that something is wrong with your GPU. That error combined with all other issues you have described likely correlates that it is a GPU issue. There are a few threads on similar issues. For example: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=12309...

Re: Multi view issues
Hi Jean, Could you explain your system/monitor setup a little more? Clouds, fog, and the sky should all properly align. We use this capability often on our training solutions. Do you have any screenshots or photographs of the issue in Prepar3D v4? How are you doing synced multi-views? What is your u...

Aiden and others,
In your testing was there a specific version of the OOG Vorbis ACM codec that caused the issue?

Adam

Re: AddOn XML Difficulties
Hi Dan, We are aware of the Landclass priority issue (with add-on.xmls) and it is being worked. We plan to include a fix in an upcoming update to better handle Landclasses. You are still free to use the scenery.cfg method as before. If you can't use add-on.xmls, you can still use Command Line config...

bradl and others having the issue, Can you confirm the dxdaig tool shows the correct graphics card under your Display tab(s)? To do this, hit the Windows key and type dxdaig and select it. Under each Display tab there should be a Device, Name: . Please let us know what your Name(s) are. Regards, Adam

Re: Prepar3d V3 and V4 freeze about 3-4 hours into flights.
Hi rockingrb1, Due to the amount of add-ons it will be hard to pinpoint the issue. If you uninstall them and reintroduce them one by one, it might help isolate the issue. If you have Visual Studio 2015, could you provide us with a crash dump when it occurs again? When Prepar3D crashes, the option to...

Re: GPS Broadcast for Foreflight
Hi skyflea25,
Can you provide details on if it is just a specific approach or if you see it consistently?
What aircraft are you using and do you have any add-ons installed?
Does your issue seem to match the topic here? http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&t=124843

Re: GoFlight TPM?
Hi rogerutley,
You might want to use DirectInput mode.
You can switch between the two controller APIs in Options > Settings > Controls > Other tab.
You should see a reverse box for any Axis - once assigned.

Re: P3D V4 Broadcast GPS Setting (Foreflight)
Yes, in the Foreflight app's devices page, the Prepar3d connector is there with green mark, then a few seconds later it greys out and disappears, then a few seconds later it reappears and is green, then disappears again, and so on... Hi eng1tx, Did you see drops outs in your packet sniffing or just...
