I use the last update 2018 and it works when in P3D.

PS : Otherwise, i have an issue with my TIR but before to launch P3D : sometimes it doesn't work but it works after a few run.

From my case, i have tried something similar (hello Pop !). After complete uninstall and fresh install, P3D works fine. After install VRS Tacpack and VRS SB, P3D gave me the "Error child window message" and crashed. At this moment, VRS was the only addon on P3D (no scenery, no other A/C). ...

After uninstall v3.4 (full) and install v3.4 full and hotfix 1 2 3, P3d works fine (no addon installed).
After Install just one addon VRS A/C (tacpack + SB), P3d doesn't work anymore (error child window).
Maybe somethinjg to do with the management of addons ?

Hi I think you may be correct Livingston. My problems essentially started with the Fall Creators update. I think Microsoft need to take a good look at what that might have caused, or maybe it just compounded an earlier problem that just did not show up until that significant update. Sadly, P3D v3.4...

Same here : just after Loading 100% "Error creating child window" followed by crash. When I got the issue "Error creating child window" for the first time, it came only after Fall Creators Update and not after KB4038788. P3D v3.4 worked fine with KB4038788 and a little workaround...
