Had the same issue, but for me it helped to delete the shaders in C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Shaders and let P3D built them up with the new driver at next startup.

There is a new Parameter in VR Settings named "Resolution Scale". Cant find any explanation what this Param is for, is it similar to "Pixel Override" in Oculus Driver ?

This Issue is well known and caused by Enhanced Atmospherics.

With EA activated i can't see Rain or Snow even with ActiveSky not running. This happens if i select the default Weather scenario with rain and also with ActiveSky and rainy weather. With EA deselected im able to see Rain and Snow.

It was another glitch of Microsoft. After update to Win 1809 and all the according fixes everything works as it should be, no more drops. Thanx BG2518 for that hint ;-)
