Re: V6?

I was a long time user of P3D until about SU6 of MSFS. After that time and the release of Fenix and PMDG I've pretty much only been flying MSFS as, well, IMHO it just looks and performs better. Yeah, perhaps the drag co-efficient of the left horizontal stabilizer is 0.01% off but you know what, who ...

Thanks LM - Appreciate you listening and pushing out a fix. Downloading now.

Are you able to indicate what the issue was that was causing the long stutters/pauses?

Cheers,

I'm always happy to hear and try possible solutions, but I'm not sure how Active Sky would be altering P3D's AA processing on things like runways and buildings......

Re: 5.2 perfect, 5.3 long pausing and stuttering is unflyable

I'm watching another instance of this occurring at the moment. Just passed through 10,000 feet out of FlyTampas TNCM in the PMDG 777. On changing views from internal to external the sim stopped and is rending 1-2 frames every couple of seconds. The image is therefore jumping around. Interestingly I'...

I agree that the AA in P3D is pretty average. That said, MFAA did make a bit of a difference without an FPS hit so thanks for that.

Re: When P3Dv53HF1 makes that stutter/pause...

gsnde , To test this using your Process Monitor information. What is your sim setup / aircraft / route to get the stutter/pause? How long did you have to wait to get the stutter/pause ? Have you tested with a default P3D aircraft / airport / flight and had stutter/pause problem? Martyson you're out...

Re: 5.2 perfect, 5.3 long pausing and stuttering is unflyable

Hi All, Add me to the list of people suffering this bug. It's occured twice now with 5.3 HF1+1. Using EA ON with VC OFF. FPS set to unlimited in sim and locked at 30 in NCP. ActiveSky running via network. AMD 5800X with a 3090. 1st occasion: Siting at gate M11 and FSDT KORD in the QW787. GSX was boa...

Re: V5.3 HF1 - Airport effects/lights are stuck ON

We identified the cause of the issue and will update the hotfix with this change as soon as possible. For those that have already downloaded the hotfix this will only require a client update. Thanks again for reporting this issue and your patience while it gets resolved. Regards, Rob McCarthy Outst...

Re: P3D v5.3 - Road Traffic - FPS Drops

There was an issue preventing exclusion zones from being respected by road traffic in 5.3. We'll have this resolved in the upcoming hotfix. Regards, Rob McCarthy Hi Rob, Great to hear you found the source of the issue. Can you advise if any progress has been made isolating the FPS issue in 5.3 bein...

Clouds blur/distort when panning V5.2

Hi LM (or any beta testers) Can you confirm if this is normal behavior to see when panning in external view? The clouds look OK when the camera is not moving, but moving the camera (paning around the aircraft) produces this effect. It actual makes me feel dizzy to look at. This image doesn't actuall...

Re: CPU Usage up, GPU usage down results in worse performance.

I'm seeing my 5800X average around 70-80% flying in cruise in the FL's with the PMDG 777. I presume thats from texture loading etc with a reasonable hit on all cores - although like Ray says core 0 is almost always at 100%. I'm happy to see more cores being utilised, as long as they're being utilise...
