Re: no click spots in virtual cockpit p3d v6

thanks Sabre57, problem solved and the fsx aircraft are working fine too, i've never checked mipmap panels in any previous version so I didn't think twice about leaving it unchecked with v6, thanks for the heads up Glad I could help. It's pretty weird, to me any way, that this would have any impact...

Re: no click spots in virtual cockpit p3d v6

Do you happen to have "mipmap vc panels" unchecked? If so, check the box and see if it behaves differently.

Re: Prepa3dv6 color very strong

It took me a while to get the lighting in P3D6 working the way I want it so that to my mind it looks realistic. I have it looking pretty good up to about 20 to 25 thousand feet. above that range it starts I think to look too blue but not as much as it did at first. My monitor has a blue light filte...

You've probably already done this but have you tried a windows repair?

I will see if that also happens at KEGE with my Professional Plus license.

Jorgen
I'm on the academic version and haven't seen these on any airport.

Re: Airport Design Editor

A quick quote: "the author has decided not to update it" - no, the author has actually retired. And that was a while ago, the ADE version that supports v. 5 was left in beta. Jorgen It works pretty good for v5. Has a few quirks. Several folks have volunteered to keep working on it but the...

Re: View Group Mgmt Problem

Just a guess but try to activate the view group as you would in a flight and then go into view management and see if that does anything.

Re: Radio stack frequency numbers not bright enough

I have P3D version 6.0.30.30926 and fiy the Mooney Bravo using the VR cockpit using an Oculus Quest 2. Except when sunlight is on them (when they become bright) the radio frequency numbers on the radio stack are not very bright and barely readable. The issue can be seen without a VR headset by sele...

Re: Menu pop-up location - Any way to choose where the menu appears?

I've tried many times via multiple methods to do the same thing and haven't been able to move it one pixel. My opinion is the position is hardcoded and/or not user accessible.

Re: v5.3 How to Cutomize VR(MR) Calibration Origin

Not sure this will help as I don't currently use VR. However, I use 3 55" TVs and have my physical seat between the left edge and center of the middle screen. That doesn't work as the pilot seat in the sim is in the center of the middle screen. Just moving the viewpoint doesn't really work eith...

Since LM has released version 6, it's not likely that V5 will be updated. Since I don't represent LM at all, I could be completely wrong. Just my opinion based on previous experience.

EMFBI, I see you have a 650 watt Power Supply. I am wondering whether you need something that will give you more headroom...at least 750, maybe 1000. Simply thinking, your computer may be getting too hot. Sherm Definitely something to check, but don't rush to buy anything. Kernalbase errors can be ...

Re: Prepar3D V3 opens and closes right away automatically

One thing to try is to rename the prepar3d.cfg file to prepar3d.bak and restart the sim. P3d will build a new one when you start it again. Sometimes the file gets corrupted and the sim won't start. If this works then look at the .bak file and add back in your changes one by one. This may or may not ...

Re: Metal Skin

It depends on the aircraft. I assume that you are referring to a non-default aircraft. If it's not default, then the creator needs to update the textures. In V6 something was changed that affects the reflectivity. If the creator no longer supports the aircraft your option would be for you modify the...
