Re: New PC Build Review

Daniel Paid £1200 for the i9 alone Sorry, that was to reflect the pc without graphics, so case, CPU, PSU board, ram, fans etc I'll try and get some tests done this week and get them on YouTube for the extra points you mentioned :D in another post. I'm more than happy at how the pc is running with v4...

Re: 2019 build for p3d v4.5- here I. go again!!

Daniel You could downgrade the Nvidia and go for the RX 5700xt which I have (they are essentially the same as the Nvidia 2070ti) but a lot cheaper. This is what I did, and you won't be disappointed on frames. I built the I9 9900k on a budget of £1500, 16gb at 3200mhz+ is good, 32gb if you can afford...

Re: New PC Build Review

Very True Jorgen and again very true CplDaniel and based on that, I have no mods in the CFG file at all. I run 2x 27" LCDs on the RX5700xt setup with eyfinity on those I run 3 other 1366x768 monitors for my panels and 1 10" USB Touch Screen monitor for the CDU, I have Orbx Base, Europe, Sc...

Re: New PC Build Review

Thanks Jorgen Is it user preference wether to keep hyperthreading enabled or not? New pc is working perfectly, only issue I've found wAs last night it was very misty in Edinburgh, as I looked out my left window, there was heavy blocks (thick lines) of mist, wasn't smoothed out like usual. Not sure i...

Re: New PC Build Review

Hi guys

New pc is here and running and hitting frames in excess of 114fps on a single monitor at the moment whilst still setting up, so far, very impressed.

Any recommendations for the AffinityMask settings for the i9 9900k? Use it or not? If so, what number

Re: Fps - wow

Sorry, it was 2am when I wrote this in my bed and didn't have the link. The video I used to help setup view group was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUCJEPHeB3k Far better than using eyfinity, however, I will try again today using eyfinity and the full screen mode to see if I get the same results. ...

Re: New PC Build Review

How would the below favour against the i9 instead, only reason as its 4.2 stock speed, and the MB has 4x GPU which I think could be helpful as its, 2 @ 16x mode and 2 @ 8x, meaning I'll get the full 16x speed on both cards, although my 2nd GPU is only for undocked panel windows, so not high performa...

Re: New PC Build Review

Hi Guys Thanks for all the input so far. PC Has been ordered, but I've since been advised to change the CPU to AMD Ryzen 9 3900x as its base speed is 3.8 boosting to 4.6 and has the PCI-E 4.0, also told with the AMD RX 5700 XT I'll get better frames with a full AMD system Anyone any info on this.. Re: New PC Build Review

Hi Jorgen

The PC is liquid cooled and been told by the shop that it will easily clock to 4.8 / 5 with what I have, no warranty affected as this is done for me in the shop. The only thing they won't clock is the graphics, but I don't think I need it

Re: Graphic Card Upgrade

Thanks for that..

What about graphics? Stick with the RX580's that I have or change these for the more expensive rtx 2060 / 1070 or 1080?
