Re: V6?
I had the much-vaunted MSFS on my system for a total of 30 minutes 30 minutes? Really? Clearly you haven't tried any planes like the PMDG 737 or the Fenix A320. Because of this "arcade" Austin started doing XP12 urgently and LM v6. XP12 has already lost, let's see what happens with P3D. a...

So much potential.
Been doing a fair bit if volumetric cfg tweaking and im amazed at how impressive CB's can be made to look in 5.3 using EA. beautifully lit with white tops and not a volcanic eruption to be seen. Very excited for 5.4 bacause if i can make these CB's i cant wait to see what LM and the As guys can do. ...

Re: Anti-Aliasing is much worse in v5.3... This is ridiculous.
Hi Adam, No way to have things better. I have a 3080 ti with a 1440p 32" monitor, I use 2048 textures and any AA I choose, I get ugly custom runway/taxiway lights flickering in the distance at night and in general shimmering of thin lines, mainly of custom sceneries. It's a scandal that there ...

Re: Stuttering + Freezing Still Occurring
Having just been pointed in the direction of another default BGL file that is causing large stutters around Helsinki is the default scenery at play with stutters in 5.3? Around Helsinki i was getting terrible stutters and only there. As was found by MK studios several default scenery files have been...

Re: Night sky EA P3D
Sorry guys but night flying can at different times be once your eyes have adapted be very light indeed. You can easily fly around weather etc and clouds are plainly visible. Even with no moon you can pick out the horizon. Full moon nights are very bright. https://photos.smugmug.com/Civil-Aviation-Ph...

Using MFAA in Nividia Control Panel reduced the amount of shimmer significantly

Re: Anti-Aliasing is much worse in v5.3... This is ridiculous.
Yea in my screenshot it was EA on, AS providing the weather. the shimmer definitely is worse with thicker cloud amounts.
Its prevalent all the time when near larger clouds is CB's which are dark grey.

Re: Anti-Aliasing is much worse in v5.3... This is ridiculous.
I have the shimmering around aircraft edges as well. Its very clear and unmistakable and it was i believe in 5.2 but fixed in the hotfix. It really depends on cloud coverage behind and sun angle. Some positions it almost disappears others its extremely prominent. About to install the latest Nvidia d...

Incredible looking clouds by bumping AS layers to 10 plus.
More of an observation than a question but by bumping up Active Sky cloud layers to 10-12 you will get incredible clouds with minimal Vram impact and about 10% FPS reduction but still smooth. Amazing renditions of Stratocumulus and storms looking ok as well. https://photos.smugmug.com/Other/Sceensho...

Re: No snowfall on P3D v5.1 hf1
Same here. Whatever EA is doing its making the raindrops so tiny that they are for all effective purposes invisible. As for snow i dont think i have ever even seen it yet. There is something broken in EA with precipitation and complete silence from LM.. If lack of precipitation in a sim isnt the big...
