Re: Incorrect UTC time.
@othersirate, what on earth are you doing setting your time to UTC (GMT) when you’re eight hours behind it? I’ve seen some odd things over the years but this takes the biscuit.

Your humour is excellent! I do remember San Marino going 1-0 up against England many years ago. England prevailed but conceding was embarrassing.
It would be nice to hear from LM as to why they don’t update scenery objects outside airports.

Re: Wembley Stadium - old version in v5. Why?
Thanks Jorgen. I also have UK2000 EGLL but the stadium is too far north to be included in that package. I’m guessing you have v5 and 6. It’s probably updated in 6 with the arch.

Wembley Stadium - old version in v5. Why?
I flew north of Heathrow yesterday over Wembley Stadium. I was astonished to see it was the old “twin towers” version that was knocked down in 2000 with the new one opened in March 2007. v5 was released in April 2020, 13 years later. Why wasn’t such an iconic stadium updated? What a disappointment. ...

Get yourself GSX / GSX Level 2. It allows you to create your own high quality jetways. And there’s a set of preconfigured jetways for many airports available here.

Re: P3D v5 Academic require Internet connection during use?
I’m not aware of that requirement but have never disconnected my network connection as I run ActiveSky and supporting software on another PC.
I believe v6 has this requirement and it’s stated in the requirements. I don’t have v6.

I did. I even pointed to a suspect BGL but nothing came of it. Seems they’d rather people move to AIGFP files.
I gave my reasons why I won’t do that.

Re: p3dv5.4.9.28482 simply freezing, no CTD -- What's going on?
Martyson, there are some BGLs causing the problem. I’ve flown a route one day without issue and on another day at a different time had the freeze.
That points to a flight active on one day but not on another. It can only be an AIG BGL.

Andre, that's good to hear. It's a pity LM can't divulge what changes they made to the flight planning side that have impacted on some traffic BGLs causing these problems.

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
I apologise for resurrecting an old topic but there very few discussing the Rayleigh effect. I have P3Dv5.3HF2 and have installed ENVSHADE to improve the dark cockpits. With EA enabled it does help but that isn’t my main concern. I have a BenQ 32” 4K monitor calibrated with a SpyderPro device. In Wi...

Re: p3dv5.4.9.28482 simply freezing, no CTD -- What's going on?
Interesting thread. I currently have V5.4 but somehow I'm not entirely satisfied. I don't have any real problems with AIG on 5.4, except that it sometimes stutters. But can you still download V5.3 HF2 from LM? would possibly do a downgrade It was available for me. All v5 downloads should be availab...
