P3dv5.4 and ChasePlane Crash
My P3D has been working flawlessly for months but suddenly I get CTD on EVERY flight. It's the typical sound stop/freeze and crash after a few seconds behaviour, usually it's ntdll error together with net framework but I've always been suspicious about Chase plane. And voilà this time I get a simcon...

Re: FFTF Dynamic compatible with 5.4?
Thanks a lot Martyson, does that mean it works WITHOUT ANY glitches and errors and is only lacking a formal statement that it is "supported" or is there any Chaseplane-functionality you had to sacrifice when updating to 5.4?

Re: FFTF Dynamic compatible with 5.4?
Thanks so much for the confirmation, hence there's only ChasePlane remaining among my add-ons. Cheers draci

Re: FFTF Dynamic compatible with 5.4?
Yes, of course, I used their annoying ticketing system and didn't get an answer so far. I find it suspicious that their current version number starts with 5.3..... It would be much easier to get confirmation from somebody who's already tried.

ASP3D clouds immediately disappear
I use ASP3D latest beta with REX Sky Force cloud textures (CloudSync on). No matter whether in EA mode or not, I have the same issue: Clouds are injected by AP3D for a second, then they disappear immediately, not matter whether I use voulmetric clouds or not. The ASP3D log is normal. It is as if som...

RAAS Pro crashing P3dv5 urctbase.dll error
I've been searching for months in vain for the reason of my ucrtbase.dll errors suspecting that there is something wrong with my system (overclock, graphics card drivers, Windows 10 installation etc) or one of my add-ons. I went through debugging steps, I've run each add-on separately etc., reinstal...

Re: urctbase.dll CTD
Update: Further testing revealed that my problem is not solved yet... On my test flight from KSFO to KDEN (both flightbeam payware) in the PMDG747 I make it to the final ILS on EVERY flight now thanks to Jorge's hint reducing the graphics card overclock. I also removed my RAM overclock to incredibly...

Re: urctbase.dll CTD
Dear Jorge, are you a wizard or a genius? After setting my GPU clock speed to 1350 Mhz according to reference specs I managed to finish the first flight in P3Dv5 without CTD for almost a whole year! I'm infinitely grateful for that hint. I would never have believed that P3D could be picky about over...

Re: urctbase.dll CTD
I'm a little bit confused, GPU-Z says Default Clock 1350 MHz Memory 1750 MHz Boost 1755 MHz The GPU-Z sensors measure 1995 MHz GPU-clock and 1700 MHz memory clock EVGA Precision measures GPU clock 1995/2010 Mhz but Memory clock 6800/7000 MHz? I have set GPU clock to 1350 Mhz and memory clock to 7000...

Re: urctbase.dll CTD
Thank you Jorge, it's worth a try. As soon as I'm home from work I'll check factory GPU overclock and report back. It's a watercooled EVGA hybrid RTX version.

urctbase.dll CTD
I'm running the current version of P3Dv5.3 and have been fighting an ucrtbase.dll error for almost a year now. I have tried literally everything: debugging steps, running each add-on separately, regenerating P3D files, reinstalling video and sound drivers, reinstalling all versions .NET and C++ runt...

Undocking Panels on Touch Screen Returning Focus to Main Window (P3Dv5.2)
Hi to all, I use a setup with two additional touchscreen monitors to undock 2D-panels which I operate with my fingers. However, whenever I touch a button on the touchscreen, the focus is removed from P3D main window with the cockpit view and transferred to the 2D panel. If I then switch to external ...

Anyone running good old VriSim MCPCombo and CDUIII successfully in P3Dv5?
I have finally found out what makes my P3dv5.2 crash on every(!) flight (quite frustrating: I have made some 200+ take-offs, but not a single landing in P3Dv5 so far): It is the VriSim Hardware, of which I own the MCP Combo and the CDUIII, for both of which I managed to get them to work in the PMDG ...
