Thanks. I'll see if I can find that setting and give it a try. Appreciate the help.

P3D V6 VR ...sky /clouds shaking while taxiing on ground
Hi guys, Thanks for releasing v6! I am using the HP G2 headset. I am noticing during taxi / ground roll that the clouds are jumping. All of the clouds are moving together / jumping around in harmony. Is anyone else noticing this ? I have been using VR in P3D for years / across many version, but have...

Re: Memory Leak /VR issues
I have applied the VR patch (I use Oculus native on a CV-1 headset), and I am getting strange visuals when looking at the ocean. when I switch modes, the water and the sky turn dark / black. When I am single pass, the colors of the ocean are different between eyes. Does anyone else see these problems.

Re: V5 awful roads, am I the only one seeing this?
In the meantime, is there a way to 'turn off' or disable the LM roads that are overlapping ORBX or other 3rd party terrain textures ?
thx

Agreed. I have noticed I have to go back and turn it on each time.

Re: VR still jittery on left eye after patch is installed.
No nausea or jitter here at all. Using Oculus CV1 with Oculus native mode.
When flying over the ocean however, I have to switch to Stereo mode , otherwise the color of the water does not match as others have reported using single pass mode.
Performance is very smooth.

Re: fpsVR data for P3Dv5 VR issues
LM team, Here are my results after recently installing v5 and the VR Hotfix : System: Win10 Pro v1809, core i7 8700k at 4.8Ghz, 16GB RAM, ASUS GeForce RTX 2080Ti 11GB OC, Driver 445.87. Oculus RIFT CV-1, using Ocuus native mode. VR set to "Single Pass" mode.... Frames locked at 90. Vsync=o...

Re: KERNELBASE.dll Crash
No, that’s NOT the end of the story...
Download the free Windows Repair tool. Find it at tweaking.com
That will fix Windows problems, and for me , eliminated the dreadful kernelbase crashes.
There is no need to completely reinstall Windows.

Re: P3Dv4 CTD frequently !!!!!!!
This is how I solved my kernelbase.dll crashes. Go to tweaking.com and download their windows repair tool. Let it run and correct your Windows 10 errors. This is much easier and quicker than resorting to a Windows reinstall. Usually not necessary. Once that is done, THEN move on to fixing / repairin...

Re: Starting Oculus Rift crashes P3Dv4.5
Continuing testing...I temporarily renamed p3d.cfg, scenery.cfg, removed add-ons. Started a flight with the PMDG 737 in stock scenery. When the flight starts, Oculus works fine. Then I disable VR as I normally do during cruise. Approaching the airport (about an hour later,) I try to re-enable VR / O...

Re: Starting Oculus Rift crashes P3Dv4.5
That is the exact same error I had yesterday... kernelbase.dll error. But I am running 419.67 driver, and can get those aircraft I mentioned earlier to work....
LM: What version of the nVidia driver do you recommend / used for your testing before release of 4.5 ?
cheers,

Re: Starting Oculus Rift crashes P3Dv4.5
It's not an Aerosoft problem as I don't have any. Mine crashes out even with the default F-22 Raptor and at the default Eglin AFB. If it won't work with the default there must be something wrong with P3DV4.5 Agree, but my reporting to Lockheed that certain a/c work while others do not may help trac...

Re: Starting Oculus Rift crashes P3Dv4.5
Same problem observed here. Prepar3d 4.5 crashes when enabling Oculus Rift, but only on certain aircraft. We are on Windows10 build 1809, intel 8700 CPU, and nVidia 1080Ti with very latest drivers v419.67. I also updated/reinstalled the Oculus software just to be sure. I updated to P3D v4.5 by unins...

Re: The Caribbean again...
Bert, The best way forward is to try to figure out which of the add-ons is causing the problem. I would suggest re-installing those add-ons, to ensure their files are placed correctly. Also, make sure your scenery library has things in the correct order. I'm fairly certain that replacing terrain.cfg...

Re: Quickest way of turning hyperthreading on/off
Yea, it can be a hot topic of debate and I have concluded that it really is machine / CPU specific. I say this because I've tested extensively with HT on , and then off, and for my machine, running P3D 4.4, ORBX, ASP4 etc etc, the performance of the sim is far smoother with HT turned OFF. Go over to...
