[RESOLVED] Major problem with P3D 5.3 HF3

Post by ruetterf »

Greetings,
I have a problem with different aircraft from different manufacturers. So I think it is a problem with my PC or a problem with my Prepar3d
I have a Citation 4j from NextGen, a Phenom 300 from Carenado and a Citation Mustang from Flight1.
The same error occurs with all aircraft.
After takeoff, the ALTS is supposed to reach 15000 feet. AltC is displayed in the PFD. The displayed altitude is also reached (AltHOLD).
After a few seconds AltHold changes to Pitch Mode and the aircraft shoots into climb or decent.

The links shows Newtube Videos for to examples.

I am using windows 10, installed 1/2 a year ago. I have no other issues with my PC. I checked for Virus, nothing found.

I would be grateful if someone knows a solution
With best Regards from Lower Saxon

Hello ruetterf ,

P3D5 does not have HF3.

On what date did you install P3D5.3HF2 ?

On what date did your current problem start?

Hi ruetterf ,

I just tested the Citation Mustang from Flight1 at 15000 feet and found no problems using P3D Academic 5.3HF2 (5.3.17.28160).

Note:
Just to verify you are not using a weather program, correct?

It looks to me as if the autopilot disconnects. This could be due to input with the controls. Now if you didn't touch you stick, I suspect there is a hardware problem with the stick, some kind of spikes that set off the autopilot.
If all plugs from your stick and throttle are firmly plugged in, then it's time to calibrate your controls. First in Windows maybe adjust nul-zones, then in P3D and if you have it installed in FSUIPC.

That's my guess for this problem. It is on all aircraft and has nothing to do with the OS or the sim install. It also doesn't matter which HF you use.

Regards
