SLI Question/Problem

I recently installed a 2nd video card (GTX 980) in my system to play around with SLI and experienced a weird issue in P3D. When I load the initial scenario, SLI works fine. I see the SLI indicator and the load is pretty even across both cards as shown below:

However, if I change aircraft, the second card has no load and the SLI indicator freezes:

It does not matter what aircraft I change to, the result is the same.

Can anyone help?

I am at 2.5 btw running the 347.88 driver from nVidia.

nvidia has no sli or AA support for p3d despite numerous requests and complaints

In this case, I am not sure its a profile issue. Why would it work with the default scenario and not when a new plane is selected. Is there something that is affected by the process of selecting aircraft that is affecting how P3D addresses the cards?
