P3D6 Not a patch.
This is not a patch its a reinstall! A patch with a 36 gb size is not a patch! So need to reinstall everything in this case.
Re: P3D6 Not a patch.
My sentiments exactly. It's been like this for all the 'patches'. It's incredibly painful. I prefer the old methods....
Re: P3D6 Not a patch.
If you let P3D do the updating, even with the entire sim being updated, you shouldn't have to re-install any addons. At least that was my experience.

Re: P3D6 Not a patch.
That's something mine has never done by itself. How do I enable it? I've had a look in the cfg file but not really found anything.

Re: P3D6 Not a patch.
YOU DONT NEED TO UNINSTALL ANY ADDONS WHEN INSTALLING OR PATCHING P3D.
When you uninstall P3D, it ONLY removes the core sim files and leaves behind all the files necessary for the Scenery Library to still work once you re-install P3D.
No adon gets lost or needs to uninstall. Ive made a video on how to do on my YT channel, uninstalling any version of p3d and reinstalling it only takes 30 mins and is painless.

Same experience here.
Sabre57 and pestridge77 are completely correct, just let P3D do its own thing and everything will be fine.
