Default keys keep coming back

Hello guys, I use FSUIPC for some stuff and the default controls/keys menu in p3d but once every two or 3 days even tho I deleted all default keys I turn my sim on and all default keys are back again??? why that will be? I have a file where I drop my setup and once I load that file all keys are deleted again but is a pain doing that every 2 or 3 days, any help to prevent this keys to return back even after save? thanks for any help.

Ok, i will delete all the default keys and export to a file I keep in my desktop so when keys appear again I will import that file and keys will be removed again but this happens a lot like every 2 days or so, any way to fix this? Thanks

Which file (name) is Exported?
What is the name of the file on your desktop?


Before you started your user procedure

Problem has been for a while but now happens often, if I open the sim 4 times a day maybe 1 time I will have to restore the deleted keys. Makes sense?

I created the file to save the keys , i just named p3dmykeys not sure what format is, yes is export it then when i use it from the sim i do the import to make sure they get deleted again

When you first installed P3D did you have this problem?

Did the problem start after you started backing up a file to your desktop?

What is the Original name for the file you are exporting?
Where did you get the file from?

Yes happens often I even installed the client yesterday and today happened again. Not sure what else to do. Is just a pain since I have throttles quadrant and a yoke so when this happens I need to setup everything again. I dont want to do a full isntall again since I have many addons on it.

Why did you install the Client again?

Does this resetting of the Assignments happen when no changes are made to P3D?


Also, just to verify what you are doing.

I think you are using the P3D
Options-Key Assignments-Export/Import/Reset functions/buttons (screenshot)
to Export your file name : p3dmykeys
Actually the full filename should be p3dmykeys.xml
to your desktop

Note:
The default path is :
C:\Users\YourNameHere\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files (not the desktop)
The default File Name is:
Control Configurations.xml

Hello sorry for the delay, I did some cleanup around where my computer is located so I unplugged everything and plugged back, I did the keys again since they appeared again all the default ones, so far I still have the same setup but if I do any major changes on my sim they will show again, not sure if this is a windows protecting issue or what :(
