Set the MOON_PHASE_LIGHTING=False in the P3D.cfg, [GRAPHICS] section. It was helpfull at least for my system.

Oh, that's cool, thank you! But maybe it is possible to fine tune the Moon phase lighting in the shaders like i wrote in my first post?

I have the same problem here. Interesting that happens only now.
The problem is to find the Bateries switch to turn on any aircraft in this condition because is simply too dark. I had to simulate an day time to find where to click to start the aircraft... Terrible

Depending on the aircraft you fly it may be possible to turn the Battery On with the default P3D keyboard key assignment.
Same for panel lighting.

Same issue here.... Total darkness...

No matter what i try, no matter the aircraft... so far tested FSW Learjet, Aerosoft CRJ... Even PMDG.... Except that luckily PMDG night lighting is still active if you are not loading cold and dark from the begining, so you can adjust spot lighting, etc.... BUT if you start cold and dark, you wont be able to find any button.... everything goes so dark that you just cant...

Absent a way to get cockpit lighting a night (keyboard key / aviation flashlight etc.) I would simulate arriving at the airport with a flashlight by starting the sim at the default P3D airport with default weather during daylight hours.

Then establish basic power and lighting in your aircraft.

Then select the departure airport, parking and time of day for your flight.

Interesting,

During the day everything is normal, but during the night, it is so dark that even external textures seems so dark that you cant event see the paint scheeme....

Check this during the day:

That is exactly the problem I have pointed out in this thread. It has obviously to do with some "internal" P3D settings regarding how night appears. It seems that it cannot be changed.

Can somebody from LM share some info?

Solved this way:

Since i use PTA, i returned default shaders and darkness was gone.

After that i reinstalled another preset Adams 2.63 disabling water Tweaks effect, and adding this to the P3D.cfg:

MOON_PHASE_LIGHTING=True
to
MOON_PHASE_LIGHTING=False

No darkness.... Something to be reviewed?.... Well....

For the while, lets go flying man!
